AI Disclosure

Last updated: June 1, 2026

NILify uses AI to help athletes write profiles, plan recruiting outreach, and surface opportunities. We believe families deserve to know where AI is involved, what it can and can't do, and how their data is used.

Where we use AI

  • AI Coach chat and recommendations.
  • Profile-writing assistance (bios, captions, highlight descriptions).
  • Coach outreach drafts and message refinement.
  • Recruiting fit suggestions and visit planning.
  • Image, name, and roster matching against public sources.

What AI can't do

AI suggestions are starting points, not advice. They can be wrong, outdated, or incomplete. AI does not guarantee recruiting outcomes, scholarships, NIL deals, or admission decisions. Always verify important information with the coach, school, or a qualified human advisor.

Human review for sensitive decisions

For decisions that meaningfully affect an athlete's recruiting path—NCAA eligibility questions, contractual NIL terms, financial aid, compliance—do not rely on AI output alone. Talk to your high-school coach, college compliance office, school counselor, or a qualified attorney.

Training data

We do not sell athlete data. We do not use your private profile content, messages, or uploads to train third-party foundation models without your consent. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve our own product features. Opt-out questions: hello@nilify.ai.

Model providers

We route AI requests through reputable model providers (such as OpenAI and Google). Their API tiers used by NILify are configured to not retain or train on customer inputs by default, subject to each provider's terms.

Labeling AI output

Where reasonable, we label AI-generated suggestions so it's clear what came from a model and what came from you, a coach, or a verified source.
